Tarragona Cruise Port Costa Daurada in Spain hosted The World, the largest private residential yacht, on 30-31 July.

Built in Rissa, Norway and launched in March 2002, The World now features 165 luxury residences ranging from studios to expansive three-bedroom apartments, which are customised to the residents’ tastes. The residents own the vessel and, along with the captains, have developed an itinerary that will enable them to visit destinations across the world in a maximum of three years. This year, the private yacht will sail nearly 40,000 miles and visit more than 100 ports in more than 40 countries.

Tarragona Cruise Port is to welcome a total of 22 cruise calls in 2016 – twice as many as last year. This will include five ships in August.
