Award-winning mixologist and TV personality Brian Van Flandern is to create exclusive, handcrafted cocktail menus for Seabourn Cruise Line’s ships.
Van Flandern will use fresh produce, botanicals and flavour profiling to create hand rafted cocktails that include ingredients from the local markets featured on Seabourn itineraries.
“There is a global revolution taking place right now in the beverage industry as an entire generation is witness to the new golden age of the cocktail,” said Van Flandern. “I am delighted to join the Seabourn family, who share my philosophy that the guest experience is paramount and that fresh, quality ingredients are the key to a successful programme.”
Seabourn has also worked with Van Flandern to train bar staff in both new and classic mixology techniques.

Van Flandern was ranked number two mixologist in the world at the Bois Mix Masters Championship and also won the United States Bartenders Guild Iron Bar Chef Competition. He also founded a New York-based cocktail consultancy to design cocktail lists and train bartenders in the art of mixology at top restaurants and resorts around the globe.
