Pearl Seas Cruises has created a new cruise itinerary that takes guests to one of the ‘seven natural wonders’ of North America.
Sailing roundtrip from Portland, Maine, Pearl Mist’s three eight-day ‘Maine & Bay of Fundy’ cruises will visit Rockland and Eastport, Maine; St. Andrews and St. James, New Brunswick; Grand Manan Island; and Bar Harbor, Maine.
Shore excursions led by Pearl Seas’ expert guides will enable guests to tour St. Andrews, recognised as a National Historic District, and go whale or bird watching at Grand Manan Island. The main highlight will be a trip to the Bay of Fundy in the Canadian Maritimes, where the tides force the waters to reverse their flow creating the famous Reversing Rapids at the mouth of the St. John’s River.
Pearl Mist will offer the cruises on 12 May and 16 and 23 October 2018.
