Taking place 14-15 November 2017 in Southampton, UK, the Passenger Ship Sustainability 2017 event will be themed “Reducing emissions and improving fuel efficiency”.

Passenger Ship Sustainability 2017 will provide a forum for representatives from the passenger shipping sector to discuss the major hurdles and recent case studies for mitigating the environmental impact of the industry. Delegates will explore why key legislative changes by the International Maritime Organization and local agencies will make it challenging to comply with environmental regulations, especially with regards to sulphur emissions and fuel efficiency.

Speakers will include Port of Barcelona, Lloyd's Register, Wightlink Ferries, DFDS, Carnival Corporation, MSC Cruises and Port of Helsinki.

Cruise and ferry operators, government agencies and non-for-profit regulatory bodies can attend the event for free.
