Oceania Cruises’ Insignia will visit 95 ports in 38 countries during her ‘Around the World in 180 Days’ voyage, which will depart on 8 January 2020.

The exploration will cross the equator four times, call on four continents and, for the very first time, circumnavigate South America.

“Travel is meant to be life-changing and that was our goal when we set out to chart this most monumental of world voyages,” said Bob Binder, president and CEO of Oceania Cruises. “The people you meet, the experiences you have and the places you visit will make an indelible impression which you’ll cherish and relive for years to come.”

Other highlights of the 2020 voyage will include nine ports of call in Japan, visits to both the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Horn in Africa and, in another first for Oceania Cruises, cruising along the breadth of Alaska from the Aleutian Islands to the Inside Passage.

In addition, shoreside events will be held in Montevideo, Uruguay; Cape Town, South Africa; Rangoon, Burma; Hong Kong, China; and Kyoto, Japan.
