MSC Cruises is to offer its first-ever world cruise onboard MSC Magnifica in 2019.

MSC Magnifica will depart Genoa, Italy on 5 January 2019 and visit 49 destinations in 32 countries on six continents over the 119-day roundtrip cruise.

““As one of the world’s truly international cruise companies, making available to our guests and travellers from around the globe a product such as a world cruise is a natural progression,” said Gianni Onorato, MSC Cruises’ CEO. “Naturally, we did it in true MSC Cruises fashion, by making available the best possible ship to enjoy such a voyage – MSC Magnifica – and featuring an itinerary like no other available in the market.”

Highlights of the cruise include up to 13 hours in most ports and extended stays in popular destinations, such as four full days in Polynesia, three full days in both Hawaii and San Francisco, and two days in Los Angeles. The ship will visit to destinations such as Tonga, Bora Bora, Cartagena in Spain, Aqaba in Jordan, New Zealand, Fiji, the Maldives and the Caribbean islands.

Guests will also be able to enjoy shore excursions such as riding elephants in Pinnawela in Sri Lanka, snorkelling in the lagoons of Moorea, and touring the Nga Bay National Park in Thailand. Exclusive to MSC World Cruise, guests will be able to book 15 complimentary shore excursions.

Starting 14 November 2016, MSC Voyagers Club members have one month to exclusively book the entire 118-night cruise, then sales will open up to the general public on 14 December. Roundtrip embarkation/disembarkation ports of call include Civitavecchia/Rome, Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona.
