Carnival Cruise Line is to upgrade retail venues and introduce products from renowned retailers like Victoria's Secret, Swarovski and Pandora onboard its cruise ships.

Products from US-based fine jewellery manufacturer Effy will be available on 12 ships, while fashion jewellery retailers Swarovski and Pandora will sell goods on 25 and 10 vessels, respectively. Guests will also be able to purchase luxury timepieces from TAG on 14 ships, fashion watches from Invicta on 25 vessels, beauty products and accessories from Victoria’s Secret on 22 ships, and jewellery, souvenirs, t-shirts and crafts from Los Cincos Soles on four vessels. Plus, select ships will feature standalone kiosks with wearable technologies, such as the latest fitness trackers, pedometers and heart rate monitors by brands like Fossil.

Carnival has introduced new activities, promotions, giveaways, in-store parties and more to improve the onboard retail experience. The line has also invested in digital marketing across the fleet directing guests to marquee retail events and upcoming deals during their cruise.

“We’re committed to enhancing every aspect of our operations – which includes, of course, onboard shopping – and our expanded and enhanced retail offerings provide guests with an opportunity to enjoy some retail therapy and take home a unique and memorable keepsake from their Carnival vacation, said William Butler, Carnival’s vice president of Retail.

Over the past year, Carnival has completely renovated the shopping outlets on Carnival Sensation, Carnival Elation, Carnival Conquest and Carnival Valor. Meanwhile, Carnival Victory, Carnival Fascination, Carnival Legend and Carnival Paradise are scheduled for retail refurbishments in the coming year. When she debuts in spring 2018, the new Carnival Horizon will introduce the line’s largest shopping area, offering two decks of shops, boutiques and displays featuring top-name retailers.
