Carnival Pride to return to Port Tampa Bay in January 2017

Carnival Cruise Line’s 2,124-passenger Carnival Pride will return to Port Tampa Bay to operate a series of five- to 14-day voyages in January and February 2017.

The ship, which has recently undergone a refit to add Carnival Fun Ship 2.0 dining and entertainment enhancements, will arrive at the US port following a 13-day ‘Carnival Journeys’ cruise departing Baltimore, Maryland, on 2 January. Guests sailing on the itinerary will be able to call at Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands. Cartagena, Colombia; Colon, Panama; Limon, Costa Rica; Mahogany Bay; Cozumel, Mexico; and the Caribbean’s newest destination, Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic.

“Tampa is a popular port for ‘Fun Ship’ cruising and we’re thrilled that the Carnival Pride is returning to the port to operate this series of five- to 14-day cruises that feature visits to top destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America,” said Christine Duffy, Carnival’s president. “These cruises also provide our valued travel agent partners with exciting new holiday choices to market to their clients.”

Carnival Pride will operate a series of seven-day cruises from Tampa departing 15, 22 and 29 January, and 19 February. During these itineraries, the ship will visit some of the Caribbean’s most popular destinations including Cozumel; Belize City, Belize; Mahogany Bay, Isla Roatan; and George Town, Grand Cayman.

In addition, the ship will offer a five-day roundtrip from Tampa on 14 February, calling at Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

Carnival Pride will conclude her Tampa schedule with a 14-day Carnival Journeys voyage on 26 February, which will take guests to Cozumel, Limon, Colon, Aruba, Bonaire, and St. Maarten, before arriving in Baltimore on 12 March. The ship will then resume her year-round schedule providing seven-day cruises from Baltimore.
