Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Ecstasy has resumed service in Charleston, South Carolina following a multi-million-dollar renovation in Freeport, the Bahamas.

During the two-week renovation from 10-24 January 2017, Carnival Ecstasy was upgraded with various new dining and beverage concepts. These include Guy’s Burger Joint, a free poolside venue developed in partnership with Food Network personality Guy Fieri; a contemporary poolside Meixcan eatery BlueIguana Cantina; the cocktail pharmacy-themed Alchemy Bar; and Cherry On Top, which sells candy, gifts and novelties, custom apparel and more.

Carnival Ecstasy sails year-round four- to ten-day departures from Charleston to destinations throughout the Bahamas and Caribbean. The ship will also operate a ten-day Carnival Journeys Caribbean voyage from 5-15 November 2017.
