UK-based slip-resistant footwear manufacturer Anvil Traction has launched a range of executive-style shoes that can be worn by customer-facing staff working on passenger ships and in other hospitality industries.

All shoes in the Executive Range collection have an upper section made from premium Nappa leather and a full leather footbed that has underfoot cushioning with ‘bounce-back’ qualities to enhance comfort. The soles also have anti-static properties and boast a slip-resistance rating that is 323% higher than SRC requirements. The shoes are also certified to meet EN ISO 20347:2012 standards.

According to Anvil Traction, these properties make shoes from the Executive Range collection ‘perfectly suited’ to hospitality staff in the cruise and ferry sectors because they look professional, but also prevent crew members from slipping on different floor surfaces or spilled foods and liquids.
