INTERIOR V IEW 7 4 Tallink Grupp is set to welcome a new shuttle ferry named MyStar on its Baltic Sea route between Tallinn, Estonia, and Helsinki, Finland, later this year. The vessel, which is currently under construction at Rauma Marine Constructions’ shipyard in Rauma, Finland, will feature interiors inspired by the beauty of the Baltic region’s environment, people, and culture. MyStar’s crisp and modern Scandinavian-style interior design concept was created by Finnish interior design agency dSign Vertti Kivi & Co, which previously worked on Tallink’s current flagship, shuttle vessel Megastar. “MyStar’s design features a novel concept that produces an impressive customer journey; giving travellers many different options that can change during the day as we invite them to come along and join the adventure,” says Tarvi-Carlos Tuulik, head of ship management at Tallink Grupp. Every public area on MyStar will convey its unique character and atmosphere through the use of various contrasting surface materials, colour palettes, furnishings created exclusively for the vessel, and bold lighting solutions. Inside MyStar, travellers will be able to enjoy views which extend through various passenger areas Richard Humphreys talks with Tarvi-Carlos Tuulik about the interior design concept of Tallink’s newest vessel Tallink MyStar Tallink’s shuttle ferry MyStar features interiors with a crisp and modern Scandinavian style
