So, we’re evolving into a multimodal luxury travel operator – combining river, rail and road to create the most comfortable, seamless ways to see the world.” As part of this strategy, Uniworld has partnered with sister brand Luxury Gold to develop ‘European Cruise & Tour’ itineraries for 2027. “We’re pairing seven-night cruises with Luxury Gold’s land tours and iconic hotels that mirror the luxurious experiences Uniworld delivers on the world’s finest waterways,” says Townson. “For instance, ‘Delight in Switzerland & the Rhine’ begins with the Glacier Express and an after-hours museum visit in Lucerne before guests board S.S. Elisabeth.” In addition, Uniworld and luxury ocean cruise brand Seabourn will jointly operate a river-and-ocean journey combining the Venetian Lagoon with the Adriatic and Greek islands. “We’ll also offer three-night land stays in cities such as Ljubljana in Slovenia on selected 2027 departures,” adds Townson.
