43 Seatrade Europe is a biannual event serving the European cruise and river cruise community. Cruise line buyers, suppliers and manufacturers, as well as ports and destinations, will unite to discuss the latest challenges and opportunities facing the European cruise market. Over 300 cruise executives and more than 5,000 visitors from over 40 countries will attend the event. More than 250 companies and destinations will also exhibit over three days in Germany’s largest port city. Some of the networking opportunities available include pre-tours to Port Arthur and Bruny Island, and partner tours to Bonorong Park and Puddleduck Vineyard. There will also be a technical tour hosted by Robert Clifford, founder of shipbuilder Incat Tasmania, and member of the Interferry board. Read more on page 88. The International Cruise Summit presents a mix of presentations, panels, games, networking and social events. Taking place in Madrid, Spain, the event will be attended by cruise line executives and delegates from all sectors of the industry. The event will explore the geopolitical issues affecting itineraries, sustainability, new developments, fundamental industry questions and the key areas organisations should focus on during the upcoming year.
