1 8 0 FEATURE Port Tampa Bay, Florida, USA Cruising from Port Tampa Bay offers something for everyone. Passengers using the port benefit from a convenient location near to a nationally ranked airport, secure on-site parking garages, three well-equipped cruise terminals, and award-winning customer services from its partners. Close by, guests will find new hotel offerings, a variety of dining options, breweries and family-friendly attractions like Sparkman Wharf. Visitors can walk to the nearby waterfront and immerse themselves in a century of Cuban culture in historic Ybor. The port is well-connected via transport links, enabling guests to hop on one of several downtown trolleys to visit Tampa’s new Riverwalk, which features waterfront parks, museums and picturesque architecture. Portsmouth International Port, UK Portsmouth International Port is in the process of extending an existing terminal to accommodate the increased number of cruise ships visiting the port. The extension will create capacity to manage an anticipated 250,000 additional passengers each year, as well as the two million passengers that are already welcomed annually at the port. The carbon-neutral extension will feature a sky garden, where passengers can enjoy views of the port, as well as a walkway from the current terminal to the new check-in area, foliage-covered interior living walls, an expansive baggage hall and an exclusive cruise lounge. The project was made possible by government Levelling Up funding and will create over 2,500 jobs, including 550 in the city of Portsmouth.
