In 2020, Finnmarken will undergo Hurtigruten’s most extensive upgrade ever and be converted into a premium expedition cruise ship. She will have five additional suites with panoramic windows, refurbished cabins with natural Scandinavian materials, four new restaurants and an expanded wellness area and a Science Center equipped with high-tech gadgets and other interactive features for guests. Purpose-built for Portugal’s Douro River, AmaWaterways’ newest vessel debuted this April with elegantly designed venues, including a Panoramic Lounge, a fitness room, massage room, a restaurant and 51 spacious staterooms, most of which have balconies.
