Royal Caribbean Group, for example, has signed a memorandum of understanding to extend its preferential berthing rights at cruise facilities in Crown Bay, St. Thomas, and Frederiksted, St. Croix, in the US Virgin Islands. The group has also committed to collaborating with the Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA) to add a third berth to the Crown Bay cruise terminal to enable it to accommodate Icon- and Quantumclass ships from its Royal Caribbean International fleet.
