MARKETWATCH Cristallux creates new Alamar sample map for designers Cristallux has released a new catalogue showcasing samples of Alamar, a thermo-plastic material that can be used for decorative lighting solutions onboard passenger ships. Alamar is lightweight, durable and customisable in terms of colour, texture and shape. The material is fully recyclable and made using less than 20 per cent of the energy needed to produce glass or processed stone. Designers can use the sample catalogue, which has been made from waste material from previous Cristallux projects, to make informed decisions during projects, whether they are designing illuminated wall and ceiling panels, lighting fixtures, room dividers or custom art pieces.
