The event will be attended by top-level decision makers from the ferry industry including owners, operators, designers, engineers and shipbuilders who will exchange knowledge, experiences, ideas and contacts. Focused on the overarching theme of ‘Power and People’, presentations will explore sustainable and future-proof power options for vessels. Discussions at the event will explore the ferry industry’s regulatory targets for greenhouse gas emissions and how it can achieve net-zero targets by 2050. Electrification is emerging as the ferry industry’s key driver towards these goals, so Interferry will focus on the development of onshore power supply in ports and terminals.
