Oslo Cruise Partners, a network of local businesses including the Port of Oslo and marketing organisation VisitOSLO, has established a working group to show the impact of cruise tourism on Oslo. The Oslo Municipality Climate Strategy states that Oslo shall leave no environmental footprint by 2030. More than 50 businesses in the local cruise network dependent on cruise calls to Oslo are now mobilising to present a clear picture of the sustainability of cruising. By collecting and presenting updated facts on environmental, social and economic impacts from cruise, the local stakeholders aim to ensure a sustainable development in cruise calls to Oslo in the future. The park-like setting can be used for lawn games, picnics, group activities and watching movies
