Organised by the World Ocean Council, this year’s Sustainable Ocean Summit will be held from 20-22 November in Paris, France and explore the theme of “Investing in Ocean Futures: Finance and Innovation for the Blue Economy.”

Delegates will include key figures from the various maritime sectors across the world including passenger shipping, tourism, marine technology, law, insurance, finance, fisheries, oil and gas, aquaculture, offshore renewables, seabed mining and more. Ocean stakeholders from the government, inter-governmental, science and environment communities will also attend to focus on how the industry can drive improvements in corporate ocean responsibility.

Chaired by Frédéric Moncany de Saint-Aignan, president of the French Maritime Cluster, the summit will include its signature Ocean Executive Forum, Women in Ocean Industries plenary session, the Digital Ocean and Ocean 2030 sessions, as well as additional discussions and workshops related to ocean governance and planning, ocean and climate, marine pollution, and ocean knowledge, research and technology.
