The Port of Vigo is to welcome a record number of cruise passengers this September.

This month, the Spanish cruise port expects to handle around 55,000 passengers during 18 calls from vessels such as Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.’s Anthem of the Seas and Explorer of the Seas; P&O Cruises’ Britannia, Ventura and Azura; Costa Cruises’ Costa Favolosa, Costa Luminosa and Costa Pacifica; Princess Cruises’ Royal Princess; Cunard Line’s Queen Elizabeth; MSC Cruises’ MSC Orchestra; Fred. Olsen Cruise Line’s Braemar; and FTI Cruises’ Berlin.

“The Port of Vigo will celebrate this successful month with a sense of pride in a job well done, but above all with the commitment of carrying on this path supporting cruise business with all means available,” said the port authority in a written statement.
