Trieste Terminal Passeggeri in Italy handled two simultaneous turnaround cruise calls for the first time in its history on 18 July.

Both Cunard Line’s Queen Victoria and Costa Cruises Costa Mediterranea called at the Italian port, bringing around 7,500 guests in total.

Speaking to ICFR, the terminal’s CEO Franco Napp said: “It is a big leap in quality for the terminal that is increasingly becoming a destination within the Mediterranean cruise ports.”
