Tall ship cruise operator Star Clippers is to homeport in Borneo and visit the Greek islands of Skiathos and Skopelos for the first time in 2019.

Between May and October 2019, Star Clipper will sail new 11-night itineraries from Kota Kinabalu in Borneo to Singapore, calling at destinations in the Malay Archipelago.

Meanwhile, Star Flyer will sail four new seven-night roundtrips from Athens, calling at Dikili in Turkey and the Greek islands of Limnos, Poros, Skiathos and Skopelos, which were used as filming locations for 2008 movie ‘Mamma Mia’. Departures will take place on 18 May, 8 and 29 June and 17 August 2019.

In 2019-2020, Star Clippers will also provide cruises to Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, as well as transatlantic and Panama Canal transits. Highlights of themed voyages will include Royal Clipper’s seven-night Grand Prix itinerary, which will take guests to the Monaco Grand Prix on 26 May 2019. Guests on this departure will also be able to visit Cannes and Corsica, France and Sardinia and Elba, Italy.
