Sir Ranulph Fiennes is set to join Saga Pearl II this November
Renowned adventurer Sir Ranulph Fiennes is set to join Saga Pearl II’s ‘Jewels of the Canary Islands’ cruise for two nights in November 2017.
While on the 449-passenger ship, Fiennes plans to talk to guests about his more than 40 years of adventure and exploration.
“I’ll be covering stories of my life and attempts at breaking world records and I will also show a film of the first vertical journey around Earth, which is narrated by the late Sir Richard Burton,” said Fiennes. “I’ll also be there if people want to ask questions, which always makes me happy.”
Departing on 20 November from the Port of Southampton in the UK, the all-inclusive ‘Jewels of the Canary Islands’ cruise will see Saga Pearl II making a maiden call in Avilés in Spain, as well as calls in Funchal, Madeira; Santa Cruz, Tenerife; Las Palmas, Gran Canaria; Arrecife, Lanzarote; Cadiz, Spain; Portimão and Lisbon, Portugal and La Coruña , Spain.
