Silversea Cruises’ Silver Discoverer is to sail five expedition cruises along Australia’s Kimberley Coast from the end of March to May 2017.

Silver Discoverer will sail between Darwin and Broome in the Northern Territory. Guests will be able to see the King George Falls, Talbot Bay’s Horizontal Falls and, depending on the tides, take a Zodiac ride through the Horizontal Falls. There’s also an option to take a helicopter flight over the four-tiered Mitchell Falls.

Marine biologists, ornithologists, geologists, botanists, historians and anthropologists will lead Zodiac excursions and interactive walks onshore, as well as destination lectures, daily recaps and photo presentations onboard the ship.

“We purposely schedule our expeditions to the Kimberley Coast at the end of the wet season, when the waterfalls are in full flow,” said Conrad Combrink, Silversea’s Global Head of Expedition Planning and Strategic Development. “With December’s extraordinary rainfall, the region's magnificent waterfalls will be on peak display this year, and we’re very pleased to offer our guests this rare opportunity to witness nature at its most majestic.”
