Princess Cruises’ Sea Princess has returned from two weeks in dry dock with new entertainment, more dining options, luxury beds in all cabins and a new bow design featuring the line’s logo.
New entertainment facilities include a ‘Movies Under the Stars’ screen, the ‘Encore’ musical production show, which features tributes to pop, opera and musical theatre, and ‘The Voice of the Ocean’ singing competition, with live band, coaches and swivelling red chairs, inspired by television show The Voice.
The ship’s newly refurbished restaurants will offer new menus, including an inspired new Café Corniche menu featuring Italian inspired dishes. In addition, The Wheelhouse Bar will have a revised drinks menu, and the classic Crooners Bar has been given a modern design upgrade.
New ‘Princess Luxury Beds’ have been introduced in all cabins. Guests will also be offered a SLEEP by Princess kit which includes eye shades, earplugs, aromatherapy scents and more.
The ship's youth spaces have also been transformed - the line's new Camp Discovery centres include activities around nature and the ports of call visited by the ship.
In partnership with Discovery Channel, the centres will include new experiences and themed designs specially designed to help young guests learn, play and create fun memories.
Following a 12-night ‘Treasures of Southeast Asia’ cruise, Sea Princess will begin her homeporting season in Australia on 18 November, sailing to destinations in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific until May 2018.
