Scanship is to deliver a total clean ship system for Silversea Cruises’ new Silver Dawn, which will be delivered by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri in 2021.

“We are very pleased to continue our cooperation with Fincantieri on this fourth Silversea Cruises newbuild, and proud to continue working with Silversea Cruises in its efforts for environmental sustainability and cleaner oceans,” said Henrik Badin, CEO of Scanship.

Silver Dawn is Silversea’s third Muse-class ship and will join her sister ships – Silver Muse and Silver Moon – in the fourth quarter of 2021. The €320 million (US$382 million) newbuild will boast the same spacious all-suite accommodation for 596 passengers, luxury dining venues and other onboard amenities that are offered onboard Silver Muse.

Like her sister ships, Silver Dawn will be designed, built and equipped to prevent air and water pollution so she can meet Green Star 3 Design standards.
