Scandlines is to offer beverages from international coffee brand Starbucks onboard its two recently launched hybrid passenger ferries, Berlin and Copenhagen.

The Nordic ferry operator first partnered with Starbucks in May 2016, introducing its beverages onboard Deutschland and Schleswig-Holstein. These ferries sail on the Puttgarden-Rødby route between Germany and Denmark.

To be offered in the GoodtoGo outlets onboard Berlin and Copenhagen, the Starbucks products will include Americano, Cafe Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso, hot chocolate and teas. Special seasonal products will also be offered throughout the year.

All GoodtoGo staff have received extensive product training from a Starbucks representative.

“We are happy to be able to offer our customers a nice cup of coffee on board, while enjoying the great facilities and the fantastic ocean view,” said Anette Ustrup Svendsen, head of corporate communications at Scandlines. “The days of bad coffee are long behind us at Scandlines – and with the new ferries we are proving our focus on quality.”
