The nine ports of call in Canada’s Saint Lawrence region expect to welcome more than 500,000 cruise passengers in 2018 – a 30% rise from 2017.

In 2018, 35 different ships from 26 cruise lines will visit the nine port and generate a combined direct and indirect annual economic impact of over US$500 million. Growth will be particularly strong in Quebec.

“Over the years, Destination Canada New England ̶ of which Cruise the Saint Lawrence is a key component – has secured a place of choice in international cruise industry circles,” said Cruise the Saint Lawrence in a press release. “Destination strengths include distinctively different ports, abundant natural and cultural attractions, and signature passenger greeting operations.”
