Saguenay’s 2017 international cruise season closed with the arrival of Crown Princess at the Quebec port on 27 October.

The Princess Cruises ship’s 3,114 passengers and 1,163 crew members joined port Saguenay in celebrations to mark the end of an “exceptional season”.

In total, 55 ships stopped over in Saguenay during the 2017 season and the port welcomed 65,395 passengers and crew members.

Between 29 September and 12 October, 19 ships visited Saguenay in 12 days with a combined 23,118 passengers and crew members. The 6 October was a particularly busy day as the port welcomed 6,000 passengers.

As of 18 October, over 4,000 tickets had been sold for land shuttles offering sightseeing tours in the boroughs of the city, and more than 5,381 visitors attended the English production of La Fabuleuse.

For 2018, 60 ships are confirmed for stops at the port, including Cunard Line’s Queen Mary 2 which will return and Disney Cruise Line's Disney Magic which will visit twice.
