Princess Cruises’ Royal Princess is to return to Liverpool in 2018, following a three-year break from the UK city.

Launched by the Duchess of Cambridge in 2013, the 3,560-guest Royal Princess last visited Liverpool in 2015 and will call four times between May and September 2018 as part of her British Isles itinerary from Southampton.

“We are thrilled to announce that Royal Princess will be returning to Liverpool as part of our British Isles itinerary,” said Tony Roberts, vice president of Princess Cruises UK and Europe.

Liverpool’s cruise terminal hosted 63 ships and 114,676 passengers and crew in 2016. The port has already confirmed 65 vessel calls for 2017 and 49 for 2018.
