Puertos del Estadao (Spanish Ports) and MedCruise aim to collaborate to promote sustainable cruise tourism in ports and cities around Spain and the Mediterranean.

This November, Puertos del Estado president Ornella Chacon Martel met with MedCruise president Airam Diaz Pastor in Madrid, Spain to discuss future challenges and opportunities for improving and growing the region’s cruise industry.

During the meeting, the two presidents discussed the impact of Spain’s ports on MedCruise’s total passenger numbers, as well as the role MedCruise plays in driving cruise traffic towards Spain. They also deliberated different ideas for joint initiatives to grow the region’s cruise sector and reduce its environmental impact.
