Princess Cruises is to offer 106 voyages to 15 destinations in Alaska between May and September 2016.

The line’s ships will depart from Seattle or San Francisco in the US, or Vancouver in Canada and will sail to destinations such as Skagway and Glacier Bay. The itineraries will last for either seven or ten nights.

“Alaska is a must-see cruise destination; there really is no comparison to the sights on offer,” said Paul Ludlow, Princess Cruises’ managing director UK and Europe. “Sipping a hot chocolate on deck while taking in the stunning glaciers is a truly amazing experience.”

Princess will also offer a series of excursions including train tours of the Alaska Railroad, land stay options in wilderness lodges and visits to Glacier Bay National Park and Denali National Park. Whale and dolphin watching, stargazing and gold rush tours are also available, while local seafood dishes will be served onboard.
