Princess Cruises is to sail more than 60 cruises from Japan between April and December 2018 – its largest season in the country to date.

Ranging from four to 23 nights, the itineraries will be operated by Diamond Princess and enable guests to cruise solely around Japan, or call at ports in several countries, including South Korea, Taiwan, Russia and Vietnam.

Princess will make maiden visits at six ports and offer two new ‘Fall Foliage’ sailings, which will take place during Japan’s peak autumn season. The itinerary includes calls to regions famous for their autumn colours, including Kyoto, Osaka and Momijidani Park in Iwakuni.

The 2,700-guest Diamond Princess is tailored to offer Japanese experiences, including traditional cuisine, a traditional indoor and outdoor onsen bath, Rakugo storytelling performances and origami classes.
