Posidonia is one of the world’s largest gathering of international shipping professionals.
Held every two years in Athens, Greece, the event brings key players from the international shipping industry in direct contact with the Greek shipowners, who own the largest fleet under the control of any one national group and dominate the newbuilding orderbook and sales and purchasing market.
The Posidonia exhibition is known for its unique atmosphere and for enabling passenger shipping representatives to network and discuss business opportunities in conferences and seminars. Visitor numbers are expected to be high, give that Posidonia 2016 attracted more than 33,500 participants from 101 countries and territories.
