Two of Noble Caledonia’s luxury cruise ships called at Portsmouth International Port in the UK on 31 August.
Sailing into Portsmouth from the Scilly Isles, Hebridean Sky and Serenissima arrived within two hours of each other. The recently refurbished Hebridean Sky (formerly Sea Explorer) docked for a turnaround call, disembarking around 116 passengers in the morning and departing with another set of guests on a private charter cruise to St Peter Port in Guernsey later that evening. Serenissima also made a turnaround visit, departing on an 11-day ‘Splendours of Normandy, Brittany & the Atlantic Edge’ cruise.
“It’s always delightful to have these wonderful small vessels in port, so to have two on the same day is quite a treat,” said Rupert Taylor, harbour master at Portsmouth International Port. “It reflects the longstanding relationship we have with Nobel Caledonia, and our ability to deliver the highest standards of service that befit the luxurious holidays its passengers enjoy onboard.”
Noble Caledonia is a regular visitor to Portsmouth.
“Dealing with Portsmouth International Port could not be easier for us: there is no one size-fits-all solution there and managers are always willing to work with us in creating a unique product for our customers,” said Mike Deegan, head of fleet operations at Noble Caledonia.
