Pacific Jewel has become the first P&O Cruises ship to offer the new The Pantry dining experience and the first Pandora jewellery outlet at sea following a multi-million dollar refit in Singapore.

Designed by Tillberg Design of Sweden to replace the former buffet area, The Pantry features eight all-inclusive dining venues offering a range of international cuisine.

The new venues include Hook’s Fish and Chips, which is decorated with white tiles and bleached driftwood to resemble a traditional beachfront restaurant; the Aztec-themed Mexicana restaurant; and the Grill, an industrial-style burger bar. Guests can also dine in the Fat Cow carvery, enjoy modern Indian cuisine in Curry House, popular Asian dishes in Stix, sweets and cakes in Sugar Bar, our drinks in the Coffee Bar.

“We've been working on this part of our onboard food revolution for some time and to see the concept become reality is very exciting. It's a game-changer – and it’s clear from our guests’ reaction that they love it,” Sture Myrmell, P&O’s senior vice president. “The Pantry is a dining experience like no other at sea. Designed as an international food market, it features eight bespoke outlets reflecting the many flavours Australians love to eat.”

The Pantry will open onboard P&O’s newest ships, Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden, when they debut in Australia in November. To see more about the making of The Pantry with Tillberg Design of Sweden watch this video.
