Oceania Cruises’ Regatta berthed in St. George’s in Grenada for the first time on 16 April.

Calling with 663 passengers, mostly from North America, the ship berthed in the port for 12 hours.

Musicians and representatives from the Grenada Tourism Authority greeted the passengers before they embarked on tours in the tri-island state of Grenada, Carriacou & Petite Martinique. Passengers were able to go diving, as well as to visit beaches, the rainforest, shops and restaurants.

Regatta was the last of 11 ships to make an inaugural visit to Grenada this year. The port will welcome two more cruise calls before the 2014-2015 season closes with a visit from Silversea Cruises’ Silver Whisper on 25 April.
