Norwegian Cruise Line is to offer 33 additional weekly roundtrip cruises from PortMiami, US to Cuba in 2018.

Building on the previously announced 30 calls that Norwegian will operate in 2017, the new four-day voyages will begin on 26 March 2018. In total, 32 of the cruises will include an overnight stay in Cuban capital Havana, as well as a call at Norwegian’s private Bahamian island, Great Stirrup Cay.

Norwegian Sky’s guests will be able to choose from a selection of 15 half-day and full-day shore excursions. These will include people-to-people exchanges, participating in a farm-to-table dining experience, exploring the flora and fauna of Soroa, touring modern Havana in an American classic car and much more.

“Cuba is a spectacular destination and we are seeing incredible demand from our guests to experience the beautiful and cultural-rich city of Havana and her warm and friendly people,” said Andy Stuart, president and chief executive officer for Norwegian Cruise Line. “We are excited to provide even more opportunities for our guests to experience this incredible destination into 2018.”
