MSC Cruises has acquired a significant interest in Trieste Adriatic Marine Initiatives, a strategic holding company for the cruise terminal in Trieste, Italy.

The acquisition will enable the cruise line to improve the passenger embarkation and disembarkation experience at Trieste Terminal Passeggeri. MSC Cruises will also start homeporting ships in Trieste from summer 2020.
