Princess Cruises’ Majestic Princess is en route to Sydney to start her first-ever homeporting season in Australia after marking the halfway point of her 23-day ‘Grand Asia’ voyage with a call in Singapore on 3 September.

Majestic Princess, the only Royal-Class ship based in Asia, embarked on the ‘Grand Asia’ voyage from Shanghai, China on 24 August and visited Busan, South Korea; Hong Kong; Nha Trang and Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City) in Vietnam, before calling in Singapore. Next, the ship will make maiden calls at Darwin, Brisbane and Sydney.

The vessel will begin her inaugural six-month homeporting season in Australia with a 12-day roundtrip from Sydney to New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji on 15 September. This will be followed by her first ‘Across The Ditch’ roundtrip from Sydney, which includes scenic cruising along the Fiordland National Park across the Tasman Sea to seven ports in New Zealand – Dunedin, Akaroa, Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland and Bay of Islands.

Another key highlight for Majestic Princess’s Australian season is that guests will be able to combine immersive ‘cruisetours’ that include visits to Uluru (Ayers Rock), Cairns and Darwin on select 12- to 13-day Australia and New Zealand cruises.

Majestic Princess will return to Singapore in April 2019 on another ‘Grand Asia’ voyage from Sydney to Hong Kong.
