Holland America Line president Orlando Ashford is to deliver the keynote at the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association’s (FCCA) Conference & Trade Show in Mérida, Mexico from 23-27 October 2017.

Ashford will join executives from other FCCA Member Cruise Lines, including Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International; Frank Del Rio, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.; Arnold Donald, president and CEO of Carnival Corporation; Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line; and Richard Sasso, chairman of MSC Cruises (USA).

Key executives from sectors such as shore operations, port operations and development, itinerary planning, and purchasing and supply chain will also attend trade show viewings and networking events. In addition, they will lead workshops focused on understanding and maximising their cruise tourism business, and host one-on-one meetings to promote their cruise product.

“I look forward to interacting with cruise tourism’s key stakeholders,” said Adam Goldstein, FCCA chairman, and president and COO of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. “This is a valuable opportunity for regional destinations and operators to learn how they are being affected by and can take advantage of the industry’s latest developments.”
