Hogia Ferry Systems is to deliver its BOOKIT reservation and ticketing system to Riverside Marine, marking the first time the company had signed a deal with an Australia-based marine client.

The reservation software will be delivered to Riverside Marine subsidiary Fantasea Cruising Magnetic, which operates a passenger and vehicle ferry service from Townsville to Magnetic Island in Queensland.

“Riverside Marine is our first partner in Australia and we are excited about this opportunity,” said Niclas Blomstrom, managing director at Hogia Ferry Systems. “Our product will make a difference and we will go the extra mile to show that we can bridge the distance, setting the scene for a long-term prosperous cooperation.”

Passengers will be able to use the service to reserve and purchase tickets on the line’s eight daily return crossings.

“The functionality offered within BOOKIT gives us the tools to excel in customer care, which will help us grow and drive our business forward,” said Lisa Baeumer, business systems coordinator at Riverside Marine.
