Geiranger Fjordservice of Norway will have a new electric ferry in service for the 2018 season.

The new vessel has been developed with an outside deck and large window areas in the lounge to give passengers the best view of the fjords, waterfalls, and mountains of Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Passengers will also be able to access a personal audio guide system in a choice of 12 languages.

Together with traditional sightseeing tours, Geiranger Fjordservice will be offering a new Taste of Norway cruise which will include the chance to sample local food and Geiranger brewery’s ‘Friaren/Suitor’ beer.
