Former Condor Ferries executive will take the helm of the Isle of Wight-based ferry operator from June 2018

Isle of Wight-based ferry operator Red Funnel has appointed former Condor Ferries executive Fran Collins as its new CEO, effective from 11 June 2018.
Collins will replace former CEO Kevin George, who will become chairman of the Red Funnel Group. Her new role will see Collins draw experience from her four-year stint as Condor Ferries’ executive director of operations, and her previous role as the line’s director of Ports and Guest Services.
“Fran’s appointment as CEO is fantastic news for Red Funnel as we embark on the next stage of development of the business under our new ownership,” said George. “Fran brings a great depth of knowledge in all aspects of operating vital ferry services to island communities and I am delighted that Red Funnel and the Isle of Wight will now have the opportunity to benefit from her experience and expertise.”
