Disney Cruise Line is to offer the new Marvel Day at Sea experience on seven Disney Magic sailings from New York, US in autumn 2017.

The Marvel Day at Sea event will last all day and include photo opportunities with Marvel superheroes like Spider-Man, Captain America and Thor, as well as a party on the upper deck with music, dancing, games, a themed pyrotechnics display with sound effects and a collection of Marvel superheroes and super villains.

Guests will also be watch exclusive at-sea screenings of films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe including the newest releases. The ship will also offer viewings of the Disney XD shows: Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Other highlights will include the chance to buy special merchandise and try unique food and beverage offerings, while young guests can participate in Marvel-themed games, activities and arts and crafts in the Marvel’s Avengers Academy.

Marvel Day at Sea will be on seven- and eight-night Disney Magic cruises from New York to the Bahamas, which will depart between 6 October and 18 November. All voyages will include a stop at Disney’s private island Castaway Cay and Port Canaveral, Florida to allow guests to enjoy a day at the Walt Disney World Resort.

In addition, the Marvel Day at Sea experience will also be available on one seven-night Canadian Coast cruise departing from New York on 21 October, with stops at Charlottetown, Sydney and Halifax.
