Denmark-based carpet manufacturer Dansk Wilton has outfitted guest suites and staterooms onboard Celebrity Cruises’ new Celebrity Edge with custom-designed carpets from its Colortec collection.
Celebrity Edge, which was delivered by the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard on 31 October ahead of her maiden season from Florida’s Port Everglades, has accommodation created by British designer Kelly Hoppen, MBE.
Dansk Wilton supplied DW Contract Colortec carpets with integrated felt backing. The tufted contract carpet comprises 20% nylon and 80% wool from Britain and New Zealand, making it soft and visually appealing, but also durable and long-lasting.
