Port Saint John in New Brunswick, Canada welcomed 143,926 cruise passengers in 2016, a 21% rise from the 106,505 in 2015.

A total of 63 vessels visited Port Saint John in 2016 – up from 59 last year – and the crew count increased to 59,003 from 50,979.

Season highlights included the return of Disney Cruise Line, which called twice with Disney Magic, and four calls from Royal Caribbean International’s Anthem of the Seas – the largest cruise ship to visit Saint John to date. The port also welcomed the one millionth Carnival Cruise Line guest and hosted eight inaugural ship calls, including the first visit from Azamara Club Cruises.
