Harare shipyard in Zimbabwe is expected to complete CroisiEurope’s new African Dream by early August 2017.

African Dream will be 40 metres long and eight metres wide, allowing her to accommodate a total of 16 guests in eight suites. Six of these suites will be equipped with French balconies, and the remaining two will be deluxe suites with balconies measuring 4 square metres. Staffed by eight crew members, the vessel will also feature a restaurant with panoramic windows, a lounge bar and rooftop terrace.

Once complete, African Dream will be cut into two units and be transported more than 1,000 kilometres across the African savanna on a trailer to reach her new homeport in Kasane, Botswana.

From here, she will sail voyages on the Chobe and Zambezi rivers. The itinerary will start with a four-day cruise followed by a five-day stay at CroisiEurope’s five-star Cascades lodge. Highlights will include safaris on land and on the water, as well as a day at Victoria Falls.
