Costa Cruises is to mark the 15th anniversary of its CostaClub guest loyalty programme by providing additional benefits for members.

The new scheme will include two new membership clubs, Perla Diamante and Ambra, bringing the total number of membership clubs to six. Each of the clubs has exclusive and personalised benefits and privileges tailored to different types of traveller.

Perla Diamante Club is the most exclusive level, offering guests services such as home luggage pick up and delivery, immediate boarding, complimentary upgrades, free access to the Club Restaurant throughout the cruise, front row theatre reservations and dedicated excursions. The Ambra Club is dedicated to those who have never cruised with Costa before.

“The new CostaClub is an important investment by Costa and is based on our passion for innovation,” said Neil Palomba, president of Costa Cruises. “We have listened to the members of the loyalty scheme to create the best benefits system in the cruise world.”

CostaClub will also introduce new ways to accumulate points based on the cruises over the past three years. The base points accredited for each cruise day will be awarded according to the type of cabin a guests selects to enable them to accrue points at a faster rate. Costs for Costa-partner airfares and onboard expenses will also contribute to points.

In addition, guests will be offered further discounts, gifts and exclusive services while onboard the ship, as well as a chance to enter a contest to win a cruise and €50,000.
